Nepheline Syenite 40%

Silica 30%

Gerstley Borate 20%

Hawthorne Bond 10%

Tin Oxide 4%

Chrome Oxide 0.1%

Bentonite 2%

Notes:

Must be put through a 40 mesh sieve to retain speckles. For a version without speckles, replace the Hawthorne bond with an equal amount of EPK. Removing Chromium Oxide turns the glaze into a speckled white version. Does better when poured or dipped rather than brushed. It must be stirred very well prior to application. Since Chrome oxide only constitutes 0.1%, larger batches are better for achieving more accurate color results.
